There are two services you need for a working website - a domain plus a hosting plan for it. If you type the domain name in your Internet browser, you see the content that is uploaded within the hosting account, but if that domain is not linked to such an account or to an email service, it is parked. Put simply, the domain address is registered and you are its owner, but it does not have any content of its own. Rather, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” Internet page from the registrar company, or it could be directed to any other URL of your choice. The advantage of parking a domain address is that you can keep it and ensure that nobody else will take it. Meanwhile, it will not take a slot for a hosted domain address within your account. You can also park domains if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domains with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main site so as to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Website Hosting

You'll be able to park as many domain addresses as you would like with each of the website hosting packages that we provide. Of course, this feature is offered exclusively for domain names registered here as the service is always provided only by the registrar. Unlike most companies, we do not charge anything additional for parking a domain and the process is going to take only a couple of clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. We also have a number of parking templates to select from where you can include custom text. If you want to host a parked domain name in the future, adding it to your account takes only a mouse click. Everything required for the website to start showing up, including setting up a domain folder and creating DNS records will be done automatically by us. The feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to see a full list of the domain names you have registered through our company and you will be able to set a filter to see only the parked or just the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting

Our Linux semi-dedicated hosting don't have a restriction for the number of domains you can park. This option is available for domain names which are registered with us and not ones that are only hosted, since the service is always provided only by the registrar. Parking any of your domains is really basic and takes a couple of clicks with the feature-rich Domain Manager instrument, which you’ll be able to access using your Hepsia hosting CP. You are going to have a variety of parking templates to pick from and you can add custom text to any of them - Under Construction, Parked Domain, For Sale, and the like. Un-parking a domain is just as easy and what is more, our system is going to set up all the needed records and it'll set up a folder in the File Manager section automatically, so you will not need to do a single thing manually.
